Kimberly Pacelli Joins Drummond Woodsum's Higher Education Practice

Portland, ME - Drummond Woodsum is pleased to welcome Kimberly Pacelli as the newest member of the Higher Education practice group. As an Attorney and Higher Education Consultant Kim will be providing advice and counsel to higher education clients on a wide variety of matters including compliance, training, policy development, employment and benefits, student conduct policy and processes, and campus speech issues.

Kim is returning to Drummond Woodsum after serving as Senior Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Bowdoin College and Associate Dean of Student Life at Harvard College. In both roles, she had substantial leadership and management experience over program and personnel for a variety of student life areas, including the dean’s office, residential life and housing, and health and counseling services, among others. “Her experience as an attorney combined with her hands-on campus experience gives her a unique perspective on the complexity of legal issues facing colleges and universities today.  "She is a valuable addition to the Higher Education practice and we are excited to welcome her back to the firm,” commented Ann Chapman, Higher Education Practice Group Leader.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Bowdoin College, a Master of Education, Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and she is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law where she received a juris doctor in 2011.
