Timothy E. Steigelman Joins Drummond Woodsum

Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that attorney Timothy E. Steigelman has joined the firm adding his expertise in litigation and maritime law. Tim’s broad litigation practice covers many subject areas including business disputes and commercial law, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, employment matters, and Tim is a Proctor in Admiralty.

In addition to his legal practice, Tim is a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Oceans and Coastal Law at the University of Maine School of Law, where he is also an occasional adjunct professor. He has presented and published in the areas of admiralty, bankruptcy, international law, and military law.

Tim graduated with a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, summa cum laude;  a Masters from the University of Maryland; and he received a Bachelors, with distinction, from the United State Naval Academy.  Before law school he was a manager at General Electric and served as an active duty naval officer. Tim continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve today.
