Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that attorney Andreea Richard has joined the firm and will be practicing in the Business & Corporate Group. Based in the firm’s growing Portland office, Andreea spent more than five years at another prominent Maine firm honing her skills on all aspects of transactions prior to joining the firm.
Andreea represents a diverse client base of businesses, from local to international, on all aspects of transactions including buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, financings and capital raising. In addition, she counsels clients on federal and Blue Sky securities laws and regulations, corporate governance and compliance issues and navigating business formation decisions. She also regularly advises nonprofit corporations on obtaining tax exempt status and governance matters.
She is an honors graduate of Loyola University and of the Boston University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Maine and Massachusetts. While at Boston University School of Law, Andreea served on the Review of Banking and Financial Law's board as articles editor.
