Kaighn Smith Quoted in Portland Press Herald on Boundaries of the Penobscot Reservation

Kaighn Smith, Practice Group Leader of Drummond Woodsum’s Indian Law Group, was quoted in the Portland Press Herald “Penobscots, State Attorneys Square Off Over Tribal Rights to Penobscot River.”

The article examines the federal lawsuit focused on protecting sustenance fishing rights, and the implications for landowners and water quality regulations in the river.
