Most schools are now using online software programs, applications, and cloud computing services to educate students and manage key administrative functions. While these technologies can be very beneficial, their use also creates new legal issues, particularly related to the privacy of the information that they use and create. This workshop identifies several of these key legal issues and discusses how schools can manage the use of these new technologies to maximize their utility while staying on the right side of the law.
