Drummond Woodsum, a full-service law firm with offices in Maine and New Hampshire, announced today that Mark T. Broth will serve as the Partner in Charge of the firm's Portsmouth and Manchester, New Hampshire offices.
As Partner in Charge of the New Hampshire offices, Mark assumes responsibility for management of the firm’s growing presence in New Hampshire which now consists of twelve attorneys and six staff. On his new role, Broth said, "I am honored to be named the Partner in Charge of the New Hampshire offices. I welcome the opportunity to work with our strong team of New Hampshire-based lawyers as we continue to serve the legal services needs of our growing list of clients. It is great to be part of a law firm that can serve clients throughout New England.” Broth, a shareholder who joined Drummond Woodsum in April 2013, is a member of the Firm' Labor and Employment Group and his practice focuses on the representation of private and public employers in all aspects of the employer/employee relationship.
Broth earned his J.D. Boston University School of Law and his B.A. from Colgate University. Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum in 2013, Mark served as Chair of another prominent New Hampshire Law Firm’s Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group. Mark has consistently been recognized by national and regional publications which rate labor and employment lawyers including Best Lawyers in America, Chambers & Partners USA Guide, and New England Super Lawyers. He has just been named New Hampshire's 2014 Lawyer of the Year in the category of Labor Law-Management. He is an elected Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, the highest recognition by colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the field of labor and employment law.
