Rebecca London is a non-lawyer consultant working for Drummond Woodsum’s Government Relations & Campaigns Practice Group.
Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Rebecca worked in Washington, D.C. as a junior associate for The Smith-Free Group, a boutique, bipartisan lobby and government relations consulting company. There, Rebecca was responsible for issues related to financial technology, or "fintech". She also worked on financial services, transportation, and renewable energy. Her work included monitoring the changing congressional and regulatory landscape, and supporting clients’ government relations agenda at the federal level.
Additionally, Rebecca worked for United States Senator Angus King (I-ME), where she worked on financial services and environment issues, and assisted the scheduler. Prior to working for the Senator in Washington, D.C., Rebecca worked for his senatorial campaign in 2012.
Rebecca manages public relations for clients, coordinating legislative efforts at the state, local, and federal level, as well as working with the media to supplement the government affairs aspect of advocacy. She helps clients reach legislative and campaign goals by creating policy proposals and working with government agencies and citizens.
Rebecca is originally from Carrabassett Valley, and attended Colby College.
We would like to hear from you, but please understand that we cannot represent you until we resolve conflicts of interest that may exist and agree to the terms of representation. Also, we cannot treat unsolicited information as confidential. Accordingly, please do not send us any information about any matter that may involve you until we send you a written confirmation that we represent you.
The best way for you to initiate a possible representation is to call us at either our Maine office (207-772-1941) or our New Hampshire office (603-433-3317). We will put you in touch with a lawyer suited to handle the general nature of your matter, and that lawyer will take you through our conflict of interest procedure. When you receive an engagement letter from that lawyer, you will be our client, and we may exchange information freely.

Our review of your information transmitted in this manner, even if you submitted it in a good faith effort to retain us, and, further, even if it is designated as confidential, does not preclude us from representing another client directly adverse to you, even in a matter where that information could and will be used against you.
