Drummond Woodsum, one of northern New England’s premier law firms, is pleased to announce that David M. Kallin, Matthew R. Serge, and Tom Trenholm have each become shareholders of the firm. We congratulate each of them for the manner in which they have distinguished themselves in the courtroom and in the community.
As the leader for Drummond Woodsum’s Land Use and Conservation practice, Kallin has brought his expertise and effective advocacy efforts to matters involving land conservation, land use, natural resource law, including natural resources on tribal land, school and municipal law, administrative law and general litigation. Most recently, David has been successful in representing the Penobscot Nation as they defend water quality standards in tribal sections of the Penobscot River.
Matt Serge, a member of Drummond Woodsum’s Municipal Practice, has a distinguished record of advising towns and cities on a wide range of issues including land use matters, zoning enforcement actions, right to know law, welfare assistance, and general government relations. Matt has recently lectured extensively on various land use issues and ethics concerns for land use board members, and has also participated in local and national webinars.
Trenholm is a member of Drummond Woodsum’s Labor and Employment and Schools and Local Government groups. He focuses his practice on negotiating labor agreements for employers in Maine and New Hampshire and is dedicated to helping them resolve a variety of employment issues. Trenholm frequently presents seminars on a wide range of employment issues that impact public and private employers, including employers in Maine’s educational and agricultural sectors.
