Participants will learn insights from several recent conservation easement amendments that have gone all the way through Maine’s court approval process and others that haven’t. Topics will include what steps may be involved in a conservation easement amendment; what types of amendments a land trust should or should not support; when Maine’s Attorney General needs to be involved; and when Court approval is required.
