Maine Preservation Honors Drummond Woodsum for its Role in Two of the Best Preservation Projects Completed in 2015

On November 18, 2015, Drummond Woodsum attorney Ron Ward was presented with two Project plaques from Maine Preservation at the 2015 Annual Awards celebration. Greg Paxton, executive director of Maine Preservation, an independent Maine non- profit devoted to preservation of significant historic properties, presented the plaques to Mr. Ward and Bateman Partners, his long- term clients, at Portland Country Club in Falmouth, Maine.

The plaques were presented to Drummond Woodsum for its role in the Boiler House Lofts project in Saco, Maine and The Inn At Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island in Portland, Maine, both of which were complex redevelopments involving extensive permitting and tax credits.

Drummond Woodsum has extensive experience in the redevelopment needs of historic properties, including the use of tax credits as critical pieces in the financing of these projects.
