Matthew Serge Joins Drummond Woodsum’s Municipal Law Practice Group

Drummond Woodsum announced today that Matthew R. Serge has joined the firm and will practice out of the firm’s Manchester New Hampshire office. Serge, who formerly practiced at Upton and Hatfield LLP, will join Drummond Woodsum's growing Municipal Law Practice Group.

"Matt is a highly regarded and experienced municipal attorney whose skills will complement our growing client base of New Hampshire towns and cities. We are thrilled to have him on board," said Amy K. Tchao, who leads the firm’s municipal law practice.

“We are excited to have Matt Serge join our team as he brings a high level of municipal expertise and is a perfect complement to our already regionally recognized municipal law practice,” said Matthew H. Upton, who also represents New Hampshire municipalities as well as school districts. “This latest addition builds upon the recent expansion of our Manchester, New Hampshire office, and is another example of our commitment to Northern New England.”

Serge advises towns and cities on a wide range of issues including: land use matters, zoning enforcement actions, right to know law, welfare assistance, and general government relations. Matt represents clients before both state and federal trial and appellate courts, and administrative boards.

"I am excited to join this dynamic and robust group which offers an impressive depth of expertise," said Serge. "Drummond Woodsum provides the perfect platform for me to continue developing my practice and offers top-notch services at reasonable rates. It is the right place for me and for my clients."

Serge is a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received his J.D. summa cum laude from the New England School of Law.
