Drummond Woodsum Represents The Town of Merrimack, New Hampshire on Kinder Morgan Natural Gas Pipeline Proposal

The Town of Merrimack, New Hampshire, has retained Drummond Woodsum attorney Joanna Brown Tourangeau to guide the Town through the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission process for reviewing a natural gas pipeline running from Pennsylvania to New England proposed by the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, LLC and known as the Northeast Energy Direct Project.

Merrimack is one of seventeen communities in southern New Hampshire that lies along the currently proposed pipeline route.  In fact, several significant Town owned conservation areas are directly impacted by the proposed route.   Joanna and the Town are working actively in conjunction with the local conservation commission, sewer department and water district to make smart, deliberate decisions in the permitting process for the proposed pipeline.
