At the Maine State Bar Association Winter Meeting on January 22, 2015, the Volunteer Lawyers Project presented its Annual Pro Bono Publico awards. Drummond Woodsum received the award for the Most VLP Cases Accepted by a Law Firm in 2014. Dave Sherman accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
For more than ten years, Drummond Woodsum has been accepting referrals of cases from the Volunteer Lawyers Project relating to unemployment appeals. Each year since 2010, the firm's attorneys are proud to have been recognized for its pro bono work.
