Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that attorneys Michael L. Buescher, Melissa A. Hewey and David M. Kallin, all members of the firm’s Litigation Group, have been recognized by the Supreme Judicial Court as Katahdin Counsel. The Katahdin Counsel Program honors Maine lawyers who in the past year have provided at least 50 hours of legal assistance to individuals who do not have the means to pay for legal assistance.
The Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program was created by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court to focus the public's attention on the critical role that pro bono legal services play in maintaining a civil justice system.
