Keriann Roman to speak on Land Use at Municipal Law Lecture Series

Drummond Woodsum Attorney Keriann Roman will be presenting a lecture on "Reexamining Your Zoning Ordinance - Innovative Land Use Controls" as part of the Local Government Center's 2012 Municipal Law Lecture Series.  Partnering with Christopher G. Parker, AICP, Director of Planning & Community Development for the City of Dover, NH, Keriann will present her lecture at six different locations throughout New Hampshire in September and October.

Keriann will be giving an update on impact fee administration while focusing primarily upon the other types of innovative land use controls that are often overlooked but can be extremely beneficial to municipalities.  Her lecture reviews these innovative land use controls and how they have been addressed by New Hampshire and other state courts upon legal challenges.  The use of conditional use permits by various municipal boards will also be addressed.

A brochure for the lecture series can be downloaded at http://www.nhlgc.org/attachments/trainingevents/MLLSbrochure.pdf
