Mona Movafaghi is Drummond Woodsum’s Practice Group Leader for Immigration.

She has extensive experience in business and family immigration and has represented many businesses in complex immigration, employer, and corporate compliance issues including labor condition applications, I-9s, and deemed export controls. Mona has been a presenter in the area of business immigration, including labor certification practice, at New Hampshire Bar Association seminars. In addition she has presented at the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association annual conferences. Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Mona was the Chair of the Immigration Practice Group at Wiggin & Nourie, PA. She also practiced with a premier immigration law firm in Boston where she provided expertise in the area of labor certifications and designed workflow for case processing. Mona has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyer’s in New Hampshire as well as Best Lawyers in America in the category of Immigration Law.

In addition to an active business immigration practice, Mona has represented families and unaccompanied minors before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. She has a passion for children’s issues and is on the Board of Directors of New Hampshire Child and Family Services.
