Ben is a highly experienced transactional lawyer who partners with his clients to identify and resolve the critical issues that arise in each proposed business transaction. As an experienced business reorganization specialist, Ben has unique experience assisting in the purchase of businesses that are insolvent or in reorganization proceedings under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Ben also assists commercial lenders to workout and restructure their most significant troubled lending relationships.
In 2007 Ben was elected to the American College of Bankruptcy, an honor offered only to the most accomplished practioners in any given field. Ben is included in the publication The Best Lawyers in America and was selected as one of the top 100 lawyers in New England by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2014. In 2010 Best Lawyers named him Lawyer of the Year in the category of Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Law. In 2014, Best Lawyers again named him Lawyer of the Year, this time in the category of Mergers and Acquisition Law. We would like to hear from you, but please understand that we cannot represent you until we resolve conflicts of interest that may exist and agree to the terms of representation. Also, we cannot treat unsolicited information as confidential. Accordingly, please do not send us any information about any matter that may involve you until we send you a written confirmation that we represent you.
The best way for you to initiate a possible representation is to call us at either our Maine office (207-772-1941) or our New Hampshire office (603-433-3317).
