Tim maintains a broad litigation practice over many subject areas including business disputes and commercial law, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, employment matters, and maritime and admiralty law. He represents clients in state and federal court, and in municipal and administrative proceedings.

In addition to his legal practice, Tim is a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Oceans and Coastal Law at the University of Maine School of Law, where he is also an occasional adjunct professor. He has presented and published in the areas of admiralty, bankruptcy, international law, and military law.

Before law school he was a manager at General Electric and served as an active duty naval officer. Tim continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve today.
